Cafe Bola
One of the fusion restaurants of famed chef Gaita Fores (with sister restaurants such as Cibo and Pepato). They serve Fusion Filipino Dishes. Loved their adobo flakes with rice. Kamias shake tasted like leaves hahaha Adobo Flakes with Kesong Puti - P120+ Carbonarra Pasta - P120+ Kamias Shake P60+
Grilla
Grilla has lots of meat. If you like asian-style BBQ, this is a good place to find it. Their styles range from your typical Filipino pork bbq and inihaw, to Korean bbq and Indian tandoori chicken. For the non-carnivorous, there is a wide selection of grilled fish, vegetables, soups, and sandwiches. The drink menu is very extensive as well. I believe Grilla is now a franchise. I went to the one in Antipolo, but there are also restaurants in Makati and Quezon City - these two are much closer to downtown Manila.
Savory of Iscolta
Savory, one of the Oldies but Goodies restaurants in Manila, is known for its good-tasting fried chicken and gravy. A whole chicken goes for P300. The resto has a few branches in the city and this big one at the old Escolta Street downtown is the original, I was told. Other local dishes are also available in the menu. Drinks are quite pricey. A fresh buko juice goes for P70.
Tried the following: Fried Chicken Rice with Fried Egg -- P135 Camaron/ Chopsuey/
Beef Rice Toppings -- P130

Gerry's Grill Restauran
the FOOD
Gerry's Grill provides everyone and anyone who loves to eat with fresh food that is cooked, grilled, or prepared to satisfy the most distinguishing of palates. Ultimately, every item on the menu goes perfectly well with your favorite beverage; whether it be alcoholic or not. For a full meal with the family or for a night-out with the boys or girls, Gerry's Grill offers the perfect place with the perfect menu to fit any occasion at any budget.
the PLACE
It is the Gerry's Grill Group of Restaurants' advocacy that the enjoyment of good food and drinks must ultimately and truly be a relaxing experience. That is why all Gerry's Grill outlets sport a look and feel that is reminiscent of tropical resorts. Natural, restful, unimposing. Partner and Official Architect Marc Dualan has maintained this ambiance in all outlets with the use of tree trunks for pillars, driftwood and bamboo for fences, wrought iron and wicker for furniture, and foliage, ponds and waterfalls for added ambiance.
the CUSTOMERS
Gerry's Grill has gone beyond it's expected target market, from the good old barkada of boys and girls unwinding with a couple of beers after a hard days work to families sharing quality time over lunch or dinner. Indeed, in terms of target market Gerry's Grill has come full circle.
